Isla Blanca Light Tackle and Fly Fishing tours:

For our trip to Isla Blanca we arrange pick-ups at your hotel if you are staying in the Cancun Hotel Zone, Downtown Cancun, Puerto Juarez, or in Punta Sam. Pick up time is at 5:30 am. We only do 8 hour trips as the area is a lot bigger than Cancun and to get you to all the spots requires a longer boat ride.

The chances of getting a Grand Slam or Super Slam are likely as the area is hardly fished and a lot of the water is so shallow that commercial fishing boats can not enter the area. The species we fish for are Tarpon, Snook, Permit, Bonefish, Sea Trout, Jacks, Snapper, and Ladyfish.

Cancun Light Tackle and Fly Fishing tours:

Fly fishing in Cancun starts usually at 6:00 am. We meet at the Blue Ray Marina dock which is located on the lagoon side between The Ritz Carlton Hotel and The Royal Sands Hotel.

We fish Laguna Nichupte as well as Laguna Bojorquez which are both National Parks so no commercial fishing is allowed. The species we fish for in the Cancun lagoons are baby Tarpon, Snook, Snappers, Barracudas, you can catch Jacks year round, and during the summer months Permit and Bonefish.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICY

Changes:

You can change any tour or activity 24 hours or more before the activity or tour begins. Changes can be made without a fee or penalty.

Cancellations:

All activities must be reserved a minimum 24 business hours before departure. Any tours reserved less than 24 business hours before departure and not completed are subject to a 5% administrative fee. Business hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday, Central Standard time. Any activity or tour can be canceled with 24 business hours advance notice. All activities or tours canceled by you result in a 5% administrative processing fee.

”No shows” or failure to cancel a tour or activity will result in a 100% charge for the service.

Cancellations must be done by the person that made the reservation. We do not accept calls from other travel providers or a hotel concierge. This is to protect you from someone canceling your tour or activities.

If the tour gets cancelled due to bad weather you’ll receive a 100% refund!
