Cancun fly fishing and light tackle fishing in Cancun, Mexico ~ Our Cancun Mexico Fly Fishing Trips.

Fly fishing in Cancun, Mexico. From the Hotel Zone you do not have to travel far to find world class Cancun fly fishing and light tackle fishing. The “Nichupte Lagoon” in front of the Cancun Hotel Zone is home to a variety of saltwater game fish!

We understand that most of you fishermen come here to Cancun with your family and friends and not all of you have time to be away from them for a full day of fly fishing or the budget to do so. For those of you we also offer 4 hour or 6 hour light tackle fishing trips in Cancun and fly fishing. We can go out at 6 am in the morning and be back at 10 am so you can spend the rest of the day with your family. The flats and rivers in Cancun are never more than a 10 to 15 minute boat ride away so you’ll get plenty of shots at the species you want to target.

We also have a great selection of Deep Sea fishing options.

Isla Blanca is an area north from Cancun. This area is a bit remote but has some great fishing just like the Cancun Nichupte lagoon. We start the day with a pick up from your hotel to take you to our dock at Isla Blanca which will take around 45 min. Round transportation is included in the price if you are staying within the Cancun Hotel zone and Playa Mujeres area, if you are staying in the Riviera Maya you will need to take a local taxi to the city center of Cancun to meet our transportation.

Once leaving the dock we will take you to the shallow flats and around the mangroves to fish for Baby Tarpon and Snook which is year round. In the summer months Permit and bonefish will start to show up so if you’re lucky enough you might get shots at all 4 species in a day.

Keep in mind that this is a full day, your pick up from your hotel will be around 5.30am and the return will be around 4pm. This trip is not recommendable for small children or senior citizens!
