Within an hour you’ve gone around the whole lagoon so for you that want to fish light tackle in Isla Mujeres or do some serious fly fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Bonefish and Permit you’re better off to do so at the lagoons of Cancun and Isla Blanca. Most of the Isla Mujeres fishing is done offshore and there are boats available from a few hundred dollars to luxurious yachts which can go for as much as a few thousand dollars.
